Lesson 11 / Saint Croix
Summer is undoubtedly a great time to travel and paint.
This time I propose to visit another gorgeous area in France - Verdon.
It has very diverse landscapes. Here we can find lavender fields, massive canyons, rivers and lakes with a particularly turquoise color, and, of course, beautiful French villages that harmoniously blend into a natural fairy-tale landscape.
Painting in such places is a great inspiration for me and a perfect opportunity for new discoveries and creative ideas.
On location, I made my compositional sketches and color studies.
